GRAVITY DARKENING
Cosmic Horror / Narrative-Driven FPS

(Under Development)

THE PITCH
Gravity Darkening is a first-person shooter dark space opera.

It’s Doom’s raw, bone-crushing violence meets the poetic, fatalistic dread of Alien. A story about cold steel, empty stars, and a guy who just wanted to hear his mother’s piano.

THE SETUP
The universe is a graveyard, and humanity is a pack of starved monkeys picking at the bones.

Enter Patch. No family. No legacy. Just a kid from the suffocating silver domes of the Outer Colonies who learned to fix a metal lung with spit and a prayer before he could even write his own name.

He’s a grease monkey. A suit-patcher. For the "Vultures"—a ruthless syndicate of deep-space scavengers—he’s nothing but disposable bait.

Then, a ghost signal pierces the void. An old Mayday from a derelict megastructure drifting in the shadow of a dying nebula.

The Vultures see a payday. Patch hears a whisper.

They go in. They open the grave. And the dark bites back.

THE STORY
The assault is sudden, and absolute. Monstrous, primordial entities tear the Vultures to shreds, leaving Patch as the sole survivor.

But he doesn't get to die—not yet.

Dragged into the damp, choking abyss of an alien prison, Patch has to do what he’s always done: survive.

What follows is not a heroic crusade, but a grueling escape across the freezing underbelly of the cosmos.

VIBES
Brutal, Close-Quarter FPS Combat.

You aren't a genetically engineered super-soldier. You’re a mechanic scavenging and jury-rigging improvised, devastating weaponry.

Gravity Darkening is a living, breathing dark Space Opera.

Beneath the blood and the gunpowder lies a deep, mature sci-fi narrative tailored for a sophisticated palate.

Piece together the tragic lore of a dying galaxy through dead logs, corrupted data-drives, and the lingering voice of Patch’s missing past.

The stars don't care about us. But they're listening.
